By E.J Hoffschmidt & W.H Tantum, IV.  Published by WE. Inc., Old Greenwich, Connecticut. 8-inch wide x 10-3/4-inch high, hard covers, with illustrated dust jacket, in plastic. First edition, copyright 1968. 212 pages, at least 100 black & white photos and illustrations, as well as, highly informative text relating to WW2 German small arms & ammunition; antitank, antiaircraft, light & heavy field guns; tanks, self-propelled guns, command cars, armored cars & trucks; and a highly instructive section on rockets, mortars, mines, grenades, as well as a glossary of German terms. One of a series of seven informative books, published by WE, Inc., in the early years of WW2 collecting, The WE, books have become quite collectible themselves, they have long been out of print; they usually command a premium on auctions and antique book sites. The covers are excellent with corner bumps. The dust cover exhibits light to moderate age, wear, fading and small paper chips. Interior pages are like new. Used. Vg+. $55.00 PHOTO

1MR-2. German Tanks Of World War II. The complete illustrated history of German armored fighting vehicles 1926 – 1945.  By Dr. F. M. von Senger und Etterlin, published 1969 by Galahad Books, New York City. 8-3/4-inch wide x 11-1/4-inch high, hard covers with illustrated dust jacket in plastic. 214 pages, hundreds of black & white photos and illustrations, line drawings and text outlining the history, development, production and specifications of all German tanks, armored vehicles and their variants over the period of 1926-1945. This definitive work contains data tables with details of the vehicles’ weight, speed, overall dimensions, armor, armament, engine and transmission specifications, etc. The covers are in excellent condition with some corner bumps. The dust cover is Vg+ and exhibits light wear from handling and storage, as well as, a few minor paper chips and on small missing piece. The pages are excellent. Used. Vg+. $36.00 PHOTO

Approximately 9-inches wide x 12-inches high format, hard black covers, gold impressed lettering on binding, complete with its original photo illustrated dust cover.  352 pages of text; including hundreds of black & white, as well as, colored photos, line drawings, colored illustrations and charts. Providing an in-depth account of warship building from WW2 to the present, (1980). Over 400 chassis are described and illustrated; text covers design evaluations, operational histories, and detailed specifications.  Dust jacket exhibits minor age and wear. Flyleaf is hand inscribed with a 1980 Christmas sentiment from the children of the previous owner. The covers and pages are in excellent condition. Used. Vg+. $24.00 PHOTO

Hundreds of black & white photos, as well as, several, high quality,  full color plates. 144 pages of descriptive text relative to, flag terminology and history, understanding flag colors, flags of the German Army, Navy, Luftwaffe, Legion condor, the “SS,” German Party Organizations Units and Police flags. A comprehensive work. Very light age from shelf wear and handling. Like new. Excellent inside and out. $22.00 PHOTO

Davis, copyright 1980, published by Arco Publishing, Inc., New York, New York. 5-1/8-inch wide x 7-1/2-inch high, illustrated paper covers, First edition, copyright 1968. 224 pages, including 70 pages of full color illustrations by Pierre turner, depicting every imaginable German uniform, in high detail, featuring uniforms being worn by notable German dignitaries. Descriptive text identifies each uniform represented. There is a rub, on the backside, through the surface of the paper, where someone has obliterated the original price that was printed on the cover; otherwise, the book is in excellent condition inside and out. Copyright 1999, over size Military Book Club Edition, published by PRC Publishing Ltd. 9-1/4-inch wide x 12-1/4-inch high format with, hard, beautifully illustrated, full-color, covers. 160 pages, containing hundreds of large, beautiful high quality, full color, photographs and illustrations of uniforms hats, helmets, photographs and eclectic memorabilia and accompanying descriptive text from the German Nazi period. The book is in excellent+ condition with and excellent condition and fully intact illustrated dust cover, (the dust cover is bright white, not yellowed as in the image). A tremendous reference. The book has seen extremely light and very insignificant use, but is virtually in new condition. (Be sure to check out the magnificent photos). Excellent++. $35.00 PHOTO

A general historical overview and a section on aircraft unit markings, and uniform rank insignia. Good basic information. The dust cover exhibits very light signs of shelf wear, otherwise intact. This book is the bible; it’s an extremely important reference you will refer to frequently. Because his book is one of the first 500, (#478), author signed, first editions, it’s a scarce, highly sought after, collector’s item itself. Hundreds and hundreds of full color photographs and color illustrations of Imperial Japanese Army & Navy uniforms, hats, helmets, insignia and field gear, as well as selected civil uniforms, insignia and equipment; Japanese swords and fire arms of various countries covered as well. A beautifully produced reference that is indispensable to the collector of Japanese militaria; a very complete work. A Beautiful copy that’s been carefully cared for. James Bender Publishing. 6-1/4-inch wide x 9-1/4-inch high, hard illustrated covers. The two authors combine their extensive knowledge and expertise, in one book, providing 464 pages of history and development of the German NSKK, (National Socialist Motor Corps), and the NSFK, (National Socialist Flying Corps), as well as over 1000 detailed black & white photos depicting and describing NSKK & NSFK collar tabs, shoulder boards, armbands, cufftitles, headgear, uniforms flags, standards, gorgets, and parade accessories. An important tool for research and identification of NSKK & NSFK insignia and accoutrements. The covers are in excellent+ condition as are the interior pages; it is in like new condition with extremely slight signs of being handled. Two very important subjects covered in one book; a must have publication for the serious military collector or historian. A Beautiful copy that has seen very little use and was carefully cared for. Standarte Feldherrnhalle, Foreign Legion units of the Luftwaffe and the RLB. Another, vintage, classic reference that was, pretty much, all that there was for us to study in the early days, now a collectors item in its own right. An easy, quick, reference of Luftwaffe Air Organizations. The color plates illustrating the shoulder boards, collar tabs, flags and standards are quite impressive.
