WW1, ear cutout, German helmet. 80 pages with 2 to 3 original photos of WW1
& WW2 German helmets and other selected headgear, which are very briefly
identified in German text, as well as several color plates depicting WW1
& WW2 helmet insignia, (some post WW2 helmets are presented also). This
one of the early classics from a time when there wasn’t any a definitive reference
work on WW2 German collectibles; this reference is a
collectible in its own right. The book exhibits extremely light and
insignificant signs of handling and storage. Like new, excellent condition

277 pages of the history and development of the German SA, (Sturmabteilung),
as well as hundreds of detailed black & white photos depicting and
describing SA, collar tabs, shoulder boards, armbands, cuff titles, headgear,
uniforms flags, standards, gorgets, and parade accessories. An important
tool for research and identification of SA insignia and accoutrements. The
dust jacket is in near excellent condition with minor surface wear, light
edge wear and a very small partial paper chip on the bottom front edge. The
covers are in excellent+ condition as are the interior pages. A must
have publication for the serious military collector or historian. A
Beautiful copy that has seen very little use and carefully cared for. $64.00

Typical Brian L. Davis style using original photographs and to study
uniforms, equipment and insignia. An excellent basic reference on WW2 style
German uniforms and outerwear. The front cover has an impression in the
upper right corner where there was once a price tag, (nothing serious). The
book is in, like new, excellent+ condition inside and out; it doesn’t

collector’s estate sale, but in like new condition; it doesn’t appear that

pages with hundreds of black & white photographs, most from private
archives, of WW2 German SS Cavalry Divisions in combat action and
routine situations; the men; the horses and the equipment are depicted in
black & white photographs accompanied by German and English captions.
The dust jacket is in near excellent condition; it exhibits very light signs
of age, wear and insignificant soil from light handling and storage; there
is light to moderate wear to the top and bottom edges of the dust cover,
mostly in the area of the spine, however, the cover has been additionally
protected with a transparent slipcover, which has kept the covers clean; the
corners of the covers are very lightly bumped; they are not dog-eared and
are without wear. The binding is tight and the interior pages are in
excellent+ condition. A clean, very well cared for book. Used.

U.S. Army Signal Corps Issue - Excellent Publication For WW2 Radio
Communication, Electronic, Signal Equipment, Radio Accessories and
Components Reference Material. 8-1/2-inch wide 11-3/8-inch
high x 5/8-inch thick, very large magazine with full color photo
illustrated paper covers, 452 pages, almost every page has a photo or
illustration, as well as informational text relative to the latest WW2
U.S. radio & communications equipment, their components and
accessories. Hundreds of communications and electronic manufacturers,
distributors and retailers are represented in this beautiful showcase
issue. Original photographs show equipment in use in the field, in combat
and during training; many articles explain the development, use and
training methods used throughout the war. Many beautiful, full size full
color photographs, as well as many hundreds of black & white photos
with descriptive test of signal and communications equipment in use, as
well as many patriotic and nostalgic manufacturers and retailers wartime
advertisements; an excellent and important reference tool as many
common and obscure pieces of U.S. military communications equipment, (some
foreign as well), are photographed and identified throughout the magazine.
The covers are attached, however the corners are worn and
dog-eared, and they are slightly separated at the top and bottom edges
near the spine. The spine is solid; the paper on the spine is worn and has
some loose spots, as well as paper chips at the top and bottom edges where
the covers attach. Overall a very solid example, the covers exhibit light
age and light to moderate wear from handling and use; the interior pages
