A historical photographic diary of the atomic bomb tests at Bikini Atoll, in 1946, published in 1946 by William H. Wise & Co., Inc., New York, for the Office of the Historian Joint Task Force One. Approximately 7-inches wide x 10-inches high format, hard blue covers with gold impressed lettering and atomic mushroom cloud on front. 224 pages of text; including hundreds of photos depicting operations and activities leading up to, and including, the actual test, as well as post test activities. An incredible historical photographic overview of this historical operation. Moderate signs of handling and use. The covers have faded areas; corners are lightly bumped from handling. 1PWB-3. Sixth Fleet Cruise, Of The Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. Leyte CV32, Circa 1946 - 47.  An official historical photographic diary of the 6th fleet Mediterranean cruise of the U.S.S. Leyte CV-32. Published by Albert Love Enterprises, Atlanta, Georgia. Approximately 9-inches wide x 12-inches high format, hard blue covers with gold embossed lettering on front.  About 140 pages, hundreds of photos of men in Divisional photos, daily activities and on leave in various Mediterranean Ports. The exterior exhibits age and wear associated with light handling and storage. Interior pages are excellent, showing minor signs of actual use. Overall Vg+. $75.00 PHOTO SOLD
