3UMM-31. FM 21-15 Individual Clothing and Equipment. War Department
Field Manual, dated April 1945, 4-1/2-inch wide x 6-3/4-inch high
format, paper covers, 88 pages with many photos, illustrations and text
relative to the proper care of clothing and individual equipment. Some
of the items covered are, care of clothing; leather; metal; horse
leather equipment, covers and saddle blankets; web equipment; canvas;
wood; tents; sleeping bags; mosquito bars; mess and other miscellaneous
equipment. The manual also covers, in detail, the method of assembling
and packing personal equipment, as well as proper display of equipment
for formal inspection. The outside covers exhibit very moderate signs of
age, as well as light to moderate soil from handling and storage and a
mark, on the upper right corner, left over from an old price tag. The
corners are lightly bumped and very lightly dog-eared; the front, and
inside front cover is hand inked with the owners name, serial number,
and unit; the back cover is inked with three words. The inside back
flyleaf, which is blank, has a snort tear, (nothing serious). The
interior pages are in Vg+ condition. A very useful manual for the
reenacting hobby. Overall about Vg. $10.00 PHOTO

3UMM-32. TM 11-33 Telephones EE-8-A & EE-8. War Department
Technical Manual, dated Match 6, 1942 6-inch wide x 9-1/16-inch high
format, 21 paper covers, 21 pages of illustrations, schematics and text
relative to the EE-8-A & EE-8 field telephone sets. A highly detail
monograph describing the purpose and characteristics of EE-8-A &
EE-8 field telephone sets, including; installation; operation; care;
repair; circuit elements; and parts list. The covers exhibit moderate
overall signs age from of storage, with very light wear and lightly
dog-eared corners; the front cover has some kind of spotting, (could be
water spots), as well as a mark, on the upper right corner, left over
from an old price tag. A very handy and useful manual if you ever
intend to get a set of field telephone operational. Overall the
exterior rates about Good; the interior pages are excellent. $9.00 PHOTO

3UMM-33. TM 1-413 Aircraft Instruments. War Department Technical
Manual, dated November 7, 1940, 5-3/4-inch wide x 9-inch high format,
oil-cloth “like” covers, 184, pages of illustrations, photos,
diagrams, text, as well as one fold-out page depicting over twenty-seven
aircraft instruments; such as, fuel pressure gages; suction gages;
manifold pressure gages; Weston engine synchronism indicator; fuel level
gages; altimeters; bank and turn indicators; automatic pilot type A-2;
aircraft compasses; cylinder temp gages, etc., etc., just to mention a
few. The covers exhibit light signs age, as well as light to moderate
soil from handling and use; the front cover
bears the owners name and serial number, in ink; the front covers
corners show signs of wear and are dog-eared. The interior pages exhibit
moderate signs of age and use; most of the upper and lower corners of
the pages are light to heavily bent and dog-eared; some minor ink
annotations on a few pages; few of the first and last pages are heavily
aged and yellowed; there is a soil spot on the page edges where one
would use his thumb to “thumb” through the pages. Unfortunately, the
description may tend to make the manual seem worse condition than it
actually is. A wealth of technical information. Overall
the manual exhibits moderate use; the exterior rates about Vg; the

3UMM-34. FM 6-80 Field Artillery Field Manual, Service of
that Piece, 155 Howitzer M1918A1, Truck Drawn. US War Department
Field Manual dated October 10, 1939. 4-1/2-inch wide x 7-3/8-inch high,
paper covers; 55 pages with a few illustrations and text prescribing the
duties to be performed in the service of the piece by the personnel
assigned to one howitzer section of the firing battery. The covers
exhibit light signs of age from handling, insignificant soil and very
small tear on the bottom left corner; original owners name inked on
upper right front and a different name is lightly penciled on the inside
front cover. The interior pages are in excellent condition. Overall near
