Deutsche Wehrmacht Armband, Printed Variation
ArmDeutscheWehrPrint.JPG (49417 bytes) 6GC-85. Approximately 7-1/2-inch wide x 4-1/8-inch high golden/yellow linen armband, with, variation style, printed black lettering, “Deutsche Wehrmacht.” Persons employed by the German Army wore this type armband, for identification purposes. The front and backside exhibits moderate age, light wear, as well as overall moderate, to heavy in some spots, soil, (nothing seriously detracting); the worst spots are in the upper right front corner as seen in the image. The dark orange discoloration that shows up in the image is simply shadows from the scanner, not the soil. A nice example of an unusual printing variation. About Vg. $30.00
Luftwaffe Signals Major Collar Tab, Single Left Side
LuftMajorSignalTab.JPG (55848 bytes) 6GC-86BRF. Light brown wool collar tab with hand embroidered, silver aluminum, single gull wing within a closed top, acorn and oak leaf wreath; the edges of the collar tab are bordered with twisted silver cord. The backside exhibits a buckram stiffener backing. The front of the tab exhibits light and insignificant signs of age with a very minor bit of wear on the upper left corner; the silver wire border is intact and fully attached. The backside has two good-sized insect holes in the buckram, which does not present itself as a serious problem, (oh how they love to eat that buckram). A very nice example. Near excellent. $49.00
Army M1944 Style Breast Eagle for the Army Field Blouse
BrstArmyM44var.JPG (49338 bytes) 6GC-87. Mouse gray, machine woven, eagle and swastika on a triangular field gray backing. This style eagle was sewn on the breast in a triangular fashion. A very tiny bit of age from handling. Very nice. Cut from a roll. Unused. Near excellent. $59.00 SOLD
Schutzpolizei Revier-Oberleutnant Shoulder Board – Slip on Single
brdSchutzPolRevierUberLeutnant.JPG (35282 bytes) 6GC-88. Silver cord top; Police green wool underlay with brown wool between and one silver pip attached to the top center of the board; the pip is the type with the prongs integral to two edges; the board signifies the rank of 1st Lieutenant District Police.  The silver top is in Vg+ condition with just a slight bit of darkening from age; the pip has a gray base metal finish; the brown wool piping below the silver cords exhibits two tiny moth bites, which go through to the stiffener; the police green wool underlay and slip-through tab are very heavily mothed and the stiffener can be seen in several places where the material is completely gone. The bottom is in Poor condition, however the top is nice. We offer this as a reasonably acceptable representative example until, or if, another turns up. $9.00 SOLD
Army Hauptfeldwebel, (NCO), 77th Infantry Regiment Single Sew In Shoulder Board
6GC-89VL. Dark green wool top with, semi-shiny, silver NCO tresse on all sides, (NCO rank of Hauptfeldwebel), and white, Infantry, piping. The silver tress is beautifully applied and has a slightly raised appearance; the center of the board has a frosted silver colored number 77, (77th Infantry Regiment), which is flanked by two silver aluminum pips; the edge of the board has a white cord type piping, (Infantry). The underside has a black felt type backing’ the prongs from the numbers and pips protrude completely through the board. This specimen is a sew-in variety with an extension long enough to be fitted into the uniform shoulder seam and has carefully been removed from its uniform. The board exhibits very slight signs of age, no mothing or other damage to the fabric on the front or backside; the silver tress is in excellent condition with just a hint of age; the piping is moderately soiled and has one very small, and pretty insignificant, fray. The pips are bright with minor soil; the number “77” is moderately tarnished. A very nice example. Near Vg+. $45.00 SOLD
Luftwaffe Flight Technical Personnel - Specialist /Trade Badge

LuftSpecTechPers.JPG (42874 bytes)

6GC-93CCR. The design is machine embroidered, using silver/gray thread, on a, wing shaped, thick, blue/gray, wool/felt patch and depicts a, five blade, rotary aircraft engine propeller, within a winged oak leaf and acorn wreath. This insignia is worn, on the lower left forearm of the service and dress tunic. Very nice embroidery. The design is embroidered directly through the wool/felt material without the use of a backing support cloth. There are minor spots of moth bites on the top surface of the wool knap, which do not go completely through the wool material; the bites are almost invisible and are not easily seen at a casual glance, but they have left the wool somewhat thin and a little weakened in one spot, (nothing at all of a serious nature), the embroidered design is not affected by the mothing. Nice. Unused. Not considering the light mothing, the insignia is in near excellent condition. $24.00 SOLD

Luftwaffe Military Seagoing Boat Personnel - Specialist /Trade Badge
LuftSpecSeaBoatPers.JPG (42907 bytes)

6GC-93ARFa. The design is machine embroidered, using gray/white thread, on a, wing shaped, medium-weight, blue/gray, wool/felt patch and depicts a, winged, fouled anchor. Worn by crewmembers of military seagoing boat personnel. Very nice embroidery. The design is embroidered directly through the wool/felt material without the used of a backing cloth. There is a large area of mothing near the left tang of the anchor; the embroidered design is not affected by the mothing. This insignia is worn on the lower left forearm of the service and dress tunic. A reasonably acceptable representative example. Unused. Not considering the area of heavy mothing, the insignia is in excellent condition. $22.00 SOLD

Luftwaffe Flight Personnel - Specialist /Trade Badge
LuftSpecFlyingPers.JPG (42711 bytes)

6GC-93PRFb. The design is machine embroidered, using silver/gray thread, on a, wing shaped, lightweight, blue/gray, wool/felt patch and depicts a, winged, four blade aircraft propeller. This insignia is worn, on the lower left forearm of the service and dress tunic, by flight personnel who are not eligible to wear Pilot, Observer or Radio Operators badges. Very nice embroidery. The design is embroidered directly through the wool/felt material without the used of a backing support cloth. There are minor spots of moth bites on the top surface of the wool knap, which do not go completely through the wool material; the bites are almost invisible and are not easily seen at a casual glance, but they have left the wool thin and weakened in these spots, (nothing extremely serious), the embroidered design is not affected by the mothing. Nice. May possibly have been sewn on a tunic. The surface moth bites are very minor and insignificant and the insignia is overall excellent. $22.00 SOLD

Luftwaffe Anti –Aircraft Artillery Sound Locator Crewmember - Specialist /Trade Badge
LuftSpecSoundLocater.JPG (46218 bytes)

6GC-93CCRc. The design is machine embroidered, using gray/white thread, on a, wing shaped, medium-weight, blue/gray, wool/felt patch and depicts a, Gothic letter, “H,” representing the word Horcher, (Listener). The, “H,” is positioned above winged branches of oak leafs and acorns wit a swastika at the bottom. Very nice embroidery. The design is embroidered directly through the wool/felt material; very minor remnants of a very tight weave, gray, cheesecloth type material remain on the backside. There are many large areas of mothing throughout the insignia; the embroidered design is not affected by the mothing. This insignia is worn on the lower left forearm of the service and dress tunic. A reasonably acceptable representative example. Unused. Not considering the mothing, the insignia is in excellent condition. $15.00 SOLD

Red Linen, NSDAP, (Nazi Party), Armband – Appears to Be A Wartime Homemade Variation
ArmPartyHbtSwastika.JPG (44080 bytes) 6GC-94. Approximately 4-1/8-inch wide red linen armband, with un-joined ends and a black, HBT, (herringbone twill), swastika made of separately sewn pieces, which is sewn onto a variation, white, grained material circle. The black swastika is in excellent condition; the white circle has darkened a bit over the years and it is moderately overall soiled from handling and use. The red linen field is lightly aged and has a few very small and insignificant spots of soil, (nothing at all serious). The ends of this armband have never been sewn together and there are very tiny holes on each end where the armband was once pinned to a uniform, (a common wartime practice). The black HBT swastika is machine sewn, directly through the white circle, and the stitching can be seen on the backside, (inside), of the armband. The HBT swastika; variation white circle; and the sewn through stitching, greatly contributes to the “homemade” theory, which was a very common practice throughout the war. A nice example. Vg. $55.00 SOLD
PLEASE NOTE: This armband is in Vg condition. The marks that are visible in the image are shadows caused by the scanner and not actually on the armband; any actual soil that is on the armband is fully described within the listing.
