Enameled N.S.D.A.P  (Nazi) Party Membership Pin, RZM, M1/14
nsdapin8var.JPG (57661 bytes) 5GM-58PEX. 7/8in diameter beautifully enameled emblem depicting a black swastika on a white circle. Silver lettering around red edge, “National-Sozialistische-DAP-,” (National Socialist German Workers Party), “NAZI.” The backside is lightly embossed, “RZM, M1/14 and has a horizontal attaching pin. The insignia was worn on civilian and uniform clothing indicating your Nazi Party affiliation. There is some enameling missing inside some of the letters around the edge, which appears to be a manufacturing flaw, rather than a chip, otherwise the enamel is in Vg. condition and shows light signs of age from handling and actual use. Some of the silver trim has tarnished to gray/gunmetal tarnish. The backside has an overall gold/gray tarnish. One of the classic WW2 German pins.  Nice. Vg. $48.00 SOLD
Russian Front Medal
Russia4Front.JPG (29925 bytes) 5GM-60. Issued for service in the Winter Campaign in Russia 1941-1942. Referred to as the Ostmedaille, (East Medal), unofficially called the, “Frozen Flesh Medal,” by the German soldiers who suffered the weather in the Russian Winter Campaign. The front of medal depicts an eagle standing on a swastika. The reverse is embossed “Winterschlacht Im Osten 1941-1942,” (Winter battle in the east 1941-1942), a crossed sword and laurel leaf adorns the bottom backside. The top of medal has a German helmet sitting on a German potato masher grenade. The front and backside of the medal has a dark gray overall finish; any silver has long since disappeared, which is a natural aging characteristic of this particular medal over long periods of storage; it appears that somebody attempted clean the medal, at some point, then stopped, (nothing very serious). The medal has a 2-1/2-inch length of ribbon that exhibits light age and light soil from handling. example. A very good representative example. About Vg. $49.00 SOLD
German Enlisted Man Land Customs Visor Hat Eagle
CustomsCapEagle.JPG (33034 bytes) 5GM-61. 2-3/4-inch wide x 1-1/8-inch high, alloy metal, visor hat eagle for WW2 German customs and border personnel. This type eagle with its wing tips pointing upwards is unique to WW2 German Customs troops. This specimen exhibits moderate to heavy age, as well as light wear on some of the highlights; unfortunately the silver wash is almost completely gone, only minor remnants of the original silver finish remains in the recess and crevices of the design and the eagle has taken on an overall light gray, base metal patina. The hollow backside has two, set-in and crimped, hardened, flat brass, attaching pins, (one pin on the wing is missing). The backside is embossed, “RZM, M4/53.” A difficult eagle to acquire. Vg-. $38.00 SOLD
Kriegsmarine Coast Artillery War Badge
CoastArt1var.JPG (59899 bytes) 5GM-63. The Coast Artillery War Badge was instituted in 1941and was awarded to personnel of a crew for individual meritorious deeds or in recognition of superior leadership. The badge was also awarded posthumously to personnel who were killed or died as a result of duty a connected Coast Artillery action. A heavy, stamped brass badge depicting a German Coast Artillery emplacement, surrounded by an oak leaf wreath, surmounted by an eagle and swastika; the eagle exhibits some minor dings from handling and actual use, (nothing seriously detracting). Approximately 98% of the original gold finish remains, which is lightly worn on the highlights; the gold finish is light to moderately tarnished creating a pleasing dark gold patina. The silver finish on the gun emplacement and water has tarnished to a dark gray patina and the silver finish on the highlights of the gun are worn to a dull brass base metal. The backside exhibits much of its original silver finish, which is moderately aged, worn and heavily tarnished; the backside has a, vertical, coke bottle shaped pin with rat-tail tip and hardened brass wire pin catch. The badge is embossed with maker name, “FEC Otto Placzek, Berlin, Ausf. C. E. Junker, Berlin.” A very nice example. Vg+. $249.00 SOLD
Ring - Oran, North Africa, (Algeria)
RingOran.JPG (35678 bytes) 5GM-66. Handmade, silver-plated brass ring, hand inscribed on front, "Oran Africa 1943." Approximately 50%, or more, of its original silver-plating still remains. Looks much better than in the image. Moderate age and wear; almost all of the silver finish worn on the front engraved portion. Slightly crude looking, however, very typical of what a GI could purchase as a remembrance of his North Africa experience. About size 8 or 9. Vg. $49.00 SOLD
German Aircraft Industry Badge of Merit - Silver Class
StpAircraftIndMerit.JPG (25881 bytes) 5GM-68. 5/8-inch wide x 1-inch high stickpin depicting a silver-plated eagle with the letter, “T” superimposed on a wolfs angle mark, on the eagles chest; the eagle is standing on a heavily enameled white shield bearing a swastika in the center. The stickpin was issued to civilian German employees working in the aircraft industry for outstanding work; the badge came in a silver and gold class and was produced in stickpin form only. There are a few insignificant nicks on the eagle, as well as a few microscopic flakes in the enamel. The backside is stamped. “Ges. Gesch,” and has a knurled stickpin. The silver-plated parts are heavily tarnished. Not often encountered. SCARCE. $65.00 SOLD

This example exhibits minor and insignificant scratches, scuffs and tiny dings, which are consistent with light actual use. The backside has two, round, hardened brass attaching pins pressed into the aluminum; the backside of each propeller is stamped with a Maltese style cross. Ref: “The SA,” by Jill Halcomb, Page 223. Vg++. $24.00 SOLD
German National Eagle, 2nd Pattern
NatEagle2pat.JPG (40268 bytes) 5GM-71. The 2nd pattern National Eagle, of course, replaced the short stubby wing 1st pattern National Eagle and was in use until the final pattern National Eagle was adopted, however, the 2nd pattern can still be seen on various NS-headgear throughout the war. This specimen is a nicely detailed, stamped aluminum, example, 2-1/2-inch wide x 1-1/4-inch high; the front exhibits a bright aluminum finish with a little age, as well as light signs of wear. The backside is embossed, “RZM M1/17,” unfortunately all there of the attaching pins, on the backside, have broken off. An excellent representative example of a 2nd pattern National Eagle and will display quite nicely with out the attaching pins.  I think you’ll like this one. Just about excellent. $24.00 SOLD
