Note: For some reason, some of the tinnies, the silver colored ones in particular, don't photograph well; they tend to look grained, pitted and heavily tarnished in the images. Tinpartitag34var.JPG (61423 bytes) 4GT-51. 1-1/2 in diameter, solid, stamped, metal alloy badge for the German Nation Party Day held in Nuremberg in 1934. The front depicts a man, clad in armor, holding a sword and a shield bearing a swastika. The original Finnish on the front and backside of this specimen is completely worn to tarnished silver metal with, brick red, surface rust patina; overall signs of heavy age from improper storage, as well as moderate wear. The flat backside is maker marked, “C. Balmberger, Nurnberg,” and has a horizontal attaching pin. An acceptable representative example. Good -. $15.00 SOLD

Pin intact. Unmarked. 2). Traffic sign, OK for automobile travel; alloy metal, light age, finish 90% intact, one tarnish spot. Backside stamped with description. Pin intact. 3). “Fernverkehr,” traffic sign, OK for long distance traffic; alloy metal; finish heavily aged; paint almost completely worn off. Backside stamped with description. Pin intact. 4). Part of a series of Nordic Teutonic weapons, some having inset, “jewels,” which are actually various colored plastic, sometimes glass, inserts; sold at Party days, festivals and similar gatherings to help finance the occasion. Four different weapons or shield tinnies, clockwise starting from the top: 1). Teutonic dagger with jewel; the dagger is constructed from inexpensive tombac-like material; the silver finish is completely deteriorated on the front; most of the silver finish remains on the backside, which is numbered, “0.9;” pin intact. 2). Teutonic axe with jewel; tombac with pewter-like finish; backside is numbered, “0.8;” pin intact. 3). “Troja-Bronze,” plastic shield depicting a Trojan bronze shield complete with simulated green aging; the backside is stamped with description; pin intact. 4). Hitler election pin, “Js 12.11.1933,” thin stamped metal, finish lightly aged and tarnished. 3). “Deutsch Ist Die Saar 1934,” stamped metal, light to moderate age, wear and tarnished. 4). Part of a series of German aircraft, ships, tanks, vehicles, etc., which could be purchased at Party days, festivals and similar gatherings to help finance the occasion. Two Aircraft and two ships. The aircraft have been played with; I believe they once had propellers, which are now missing; the finish is aged and worn; overall about Vg-. The battleship is in excellent condition. The finish on the assault boat is worn on the bottom and on the highlights; all of the soldiers are intact. The assault boat is quite nice. Vg. $24.00 For the set SOLD

Part of a series of German field gear, that were hung from strings and worn on pockets and shirt buttons; packs, pouches, canteens, etc., which could be purchased at Party days, festivals and similar gatherings to help finance the occasion. One pack, one bread bag and two canteens, which have been played with; the pack and bread bag are about 7/8-inch wide x ¾-inch high; they have heavy wear on the painted finish; condition about Vg-. The canteens measure about 5/8-inch wide x ¾-inch high; most of the finish remains on the canteens, which would rate at least Vg. Nice representative examples. $24.00 For the set SOLD

A large Teutonic dagger in its scabbard with a sparkly jewel; the dagger is constructed from inexpensive tombac-like material; the silver finish is completely deteriorated on the front; remnants of the silver finish remains on the backside, which is numbered, “0.40;” pin intact. 2). Teutonic axe with sparkly jewel; tombac; finish is won to a pewter-like finish; backside is numbered, “0.1;” pin intact. 3). “Troja-Bronze,” plastic shield depicting a Trojan bronze shield with remnants of simulated green aging; the backside is stamped with description; pin intact. 4). Teutonic axe with jewel; tombac; finish is won to a pewter-like finish; backside is numbered, “0;” (looks like the other number ran off the edge of the metal). Pin intact. KraftJewelry.JPG (63033 bytes) 4GT-62. average size approximately ¾-inch diameter, hand carved composition material, novelty jewelry, which was produced for sale at festivals. Nice composition carving; a pair of flowers with ladybug; one metal piece with glass, jewel,” etc. All are lightly aged and are in excellent condition, except for the edelweiss, which has one spiked petal missing.
