Original, Soviet Russian, Cold War, Air Force Survival Kit With Original Russian Air Force Survival Equipment & Survival Radio

Pair of large ingenuous folding aluminum snowshoes, which are really neat. 2). Two large, flat, metal canteens with extra washers for caps. 3). Two 6pc-water purification kits each with its own rubberized orange colored water bladder. 4). Sea dye marker. 5). Dark colored goggle lens. 6). Wire saw in small OD canvas bag. 6). Basic first aid kit, controlled substances were removed before import. 7). Waterproof/windproof matches with striking board. 8). Penlight flashlight with extra bulb. 9). Really cool fishing kit with lures, weights, sinkers, hooks, line and instruction sheet. 10). Signal whistle. 11). A combination can and bottle opener, similar to the US P38 opener. 12). Wrist compass. 13). Small roll of tape. 14). Signal mirror. 15). Solid fuel tablets. 16). Two plastic and one aluminum empty containers for cartridges and signal flare rounds. 17). Four empty aluminum containers for unknown items. 18). Survival booklet sealed in waterproof package. 19). Four empty circular compartments for rations. 20). Inventory booklet. 21). Hand held survival radio, in perfect operating condition, with antenna and leather carry strap. 22). Battery for the radio, dated 11-90. Quite a lot of "STUFF" for the money." This unit was brought out of Russia in the early 1990's. Any missing items were confiscated by the Russian Customs before the unit was allowed to leave the country. Dates on the paperwork range from 1989 to 1992. Everything is unused and original Soviet Russian Air Force Military Issue. A very UNIQUE and SCARCE piece of Soviet Cold War memorabilia. Cold War Period - Soviet Russia Armor Corps General’s Parade Dress Hat

An excellent quality, Soviet Russia, Armor Corps General’s parade dress visor hat; deep green wool gabardine material; large saucer shaped top with heavily padded, very high, front crown and partially padded sides and a black velvet hatband; the hat has scarlet wool edge piping. A, large, gold wire wheat sheaf design is hand embroidered directly onto the black velvet hatband; a gold metal insignia, bearing a, separately applied, red enameled hammer and sickle device is affixed to the front center of the hatband between the embroidered wheat sheaf design. A, hand embroidered, gold bullion wire chinstrap with wheat sheaf design is secured to the hat by, stamped, gold metal side buttons.  The shiny black patent leather visor is hand embroidered in a, gold bullion wire, wheat sheaf. The underside of the visor is lined with black wool. The interior has a, wide, flesh-colored sweatband with a, thin, red cloth adjusting band, as well as, a tan textured leather sweat shield, which is sewn onto the gray, rayon-like, interior lining; the sweat shield has Russian markings and is stamped, “63,” (a very large size). A very impressive looking hat in perfect unused condition. SCARCE. $450.00
Soviet Russia AK-47 Magazine Bag With Shoulder Strap (Referred To As The Airborne Magazine Bag)

This bag is designed to carry four 30rd K-47 magazines and tubular cleaning kit. Large square front flap closure is secured by a brass stud and leather strap. Adjustable shoulder strap constructed of thick gray/green webbing with blackened metal adjusting buckle, metal tip and leather belt loop. Backside has one cloth belt loop. Preliminary research indicates this was a Russian Paratrooper issue item. Very minor age from storage, nice quality. Unused. Excellent.  $25.00

Cold War Period, Soviet Russia, Army Officer Dagger  With Army Officer Dress Belt and Hangers

Approximately 13-1/2-inch overall length, with gold finished, brass, hardware; the pommel nut is fashioned with a soviet style star on top; the pommel cap is impressed with the Russian hammer & sickle device, which is superimposed on the world, with a Soviet star above, within a wreath. The grip is constructed from a light orange colored composition material, which exhibits some extremely light and insignificant surface scratches from handling and use. The grip is fitted with a pushbutton release, just above crossguard. Approximately 98%, or more, of the original gold finish remains on the pommel and in the pushbutton area; the finish exhibits light signs of age, a few tiny nicks, as well as very insignificant, overall, light surface scratches from handling and use; virtually no tarnish. Approximately 98%, or more, of the original gold finish remains on the front and backside of the crossguard; the finish exhibits very light surface scratches, as well as, very tiny, and insignificant nicks from handling and use; the bright, double-edged, chrome plated blade is 8-1/4-inch long x 11/16-inch wide; the front side of the blade has a maker’s logo design; the backside is serial numbered 8853 and has Cyrillic letters. The blade retains approximately 99%, of its original plating and has minor and insignificant signs of being put in and taken out of the scabbard; the blade retains its, light, factory sharpening and the tip has not been altered. The black leather washer, between the crossguard and the scabbard, is still intact. The scabbard is covered with, fine-grained, black leather, which exhibits moderate signs of scuffs, scratches and nicks, (some heavier scratched, scuffed and nicked spots, but nothing extremely serious), in the leather from average handling and use; the scabbard has gold finished hardware and double hanger rings. The gold finish on the throat area of the scabbard is light worn, maybe 60% of the original gold finish remains; the front it is engraved with an the Soviet Russian star, hammer and sickle design with rays emitting from behind, an oak leaf wreath is at the bottom of the star; the backside of the throat area is engraved with a depiction of the Kremlin clock tower. The front and backside of the lower hanger ring hardware retains 95%, or more of its original gold finish, with moderate, light, overall surface scratches from handling and normal use. The metal tip retains 95%, or more of its original gold finish, with moderate, light, overall surface scratches from handling and normal use. The dress belt with hangers is in excellent condition, it has the slightest signs of age from handling and does not appear to have had any use; the belt is constructed from a heavy gold colored cloth fabric with three bands of multi colored stripes. The stamped metal buckle retains 99% of its original gold finish and depicts a hammer & sickle superimposed on a large Russian star, within a laurel wreath. Both hanger straps have stamped, gold metal, buckles. Overall Vg to near Vg+. $255.00
Cold War Period, Soviet Russia, Navy Officer Dagger, Dated 1971, With Navy Dress Belt and Hangers

1RPW-6. Approximately 13-1/2-inch overall length, with gold finished, brass, hardware; the pommel nut is fashioned with a soviet style star on top; the pommel cap is impressed with the Russian hammer & sickle device, which is superimposed on the world, with a Soviet star above, within a wreath. The grip is constructed from a light beige colored composition material; it’s in excellent condition and is fitted with a pushbutton release, just above crossguard. Approximately 95%, or more, of the original gold finish remains on the pommel and in the pushbutton area; the finish exhibits light signs of age, insignificant tarnish, as well as insignificant surface scratches from handling. Someone has lightly applied pliers to the pommel nut at some time, leaving some vertical plier marks, (nothing seriously detracting). Approximately 90%, or more, of the original gold finish remains on the crossguard; the finish exhibits light to moderate finish wear, (some heavy areas of finish wear), as well as light surface scratches from handling and use; the front of the cross guard has more finish wear than the backside. The bright, double-edged, chrome plated blade is 8-1/4-inch long x 11/16-inch wide; the front side of the blade has a maker’s logo design, it’s dated 1971 and is serial numbered 6328 on the reverse side. The blade retains approximately 98%, or more of its original plating with extremely light wear to the chrome finish in the area of the serial number; the blade has minor signs of being put in and taken out of the scabbard; the blade retains its, light, factory sharpening and there is, one, very tiny and insignificant, nick on the knife edge, that’s not actually noticeable at first glance; the tip has not been altered. The black leather washer, between the crossguard and the scabbard, is still intact. The scabbard is covered with, fine-grained, black leather, which exhibits light signs of scuffs, scratches and minor nicks in the leather from average handling and use; the scabbard has gold finished hardware and double hanger rings. The gold finish on the throat area of the scabbard is heavily worn to base brass metal, maybe 40% of the original gold finish remains; the front it is engraved with a fouled anchor design; the backside of the throat area is engraved with a depiction of a sailing ship. The lower hanger ring hardware retains 90%, or more of its original gold finish, with a moderate scratch, in the finish, on the backside. The metal tip retains 90%, or more of its original gold finish, which exhibits some moderate surface scratching on the front and backside from normal use. The dress belt with hangers is in excellent condition, it has the slightest signs of age from handling and does not appear to have had any use; the belt is constructed from a heavy gold colored cloth fabric with three bands of multi colored stripes. The stamped metal buckle retains 99.9% of its original gold finish and depicts a fouled anchor, surmounted by a star, within a laurel wreath.Both hanger straps have the same design as the buckle. I just noticed that the top hanger loop has been reattached at some time; it is a strong, very clean job and I did not see it until I was closely inspecting and describing the scabbard, I will price the unit accordingly; even with the repair, it’s a very nice used example. 1RPW-7. A type 6, variation 2 medal approx. 1-1/2in wide x 1-3/4in high. Quality red, white and blue enameled finish on silver and gold medal. Light blue ribbon with dark blue stripes on each edge on a five-sided suspension device. Center depression on reverse bears an embossed "Monetny Dvor" mintmark, the word “Monetny” is curved and “Dvor” is straight. Reverse also bears a rotating tool engraved serial number 819552. There are three round head rivets that secure the hammer and sickle and red star onto the front of the medal. Metal backed ribbon with safety pin style attaching pin. The medal is in Vg+ condition exhibiting light age and wear associated with handling and actual use. The ribbon is in excellent overall condition. Overall excellent.  $35.00 SOLD

1RPW-9. A type 3 variation 3 medal approx. 1-1/2in wide x 1-5/8in high. Quality red and white enameled finish on silver medal. Red and white striped ribbon, on a five-sided suspension device. Reverse marked with one line "Monetny Dvor" mintmark and a hand engraved serial number 320225. Metal backed ribbon with safety pin style attaching pin. A beautiful Soviet order with its origin going back to 1918. The medal is in Vg condition exhibiting light age and wear associated with handling and actual use. The ribbon is light to moderately soiled in spots from handling and exhibits moderate wear where the ring goes into the metal plate from being actually worn. Safety pin and back plate darkened from age and storage. Overall Vg.  $35.00 SOLD

1RPW-10. A type 4, variation 1 medal approx. 1-3/8in wide x 1-7/8in high. Quality red enameled finish on silver and gold plated medal. Flesh colored ribbon with golden orange stripe on each edge on each edge on a five-sided metal suspension device with safety pin style attaching device. Center depression on reverse bears an embossed "Monetny Dvor" mintmark, the word “Monetny” is curved and “Dvor” is straight. Reverse also bears a rotating tool engraved serial number 646433. The gold plated "CCCP" letters on the front of the medal are separate pieces soldered to medal. Russian words "Znak Pocheta," (Badge of Honor), on bottom front of order The medal and ribbon is in Vg condition exhibiting light age, wear and soil associated with handling and actual use.
