1USUE-1. Olive green cotton canvas pouch
designed to hold a first aid field dressing or a military compass.
Approximately 4-3/4-inch wide x 5-inch high,m slightly expandable pouch with
blackened snap closure, US letters on front. Backside has one black
metal ALICE type belt loop. Military markings inside flap. A very nice
example, exhibiting very minor signs of age from storage, very little
signs of any use. Nice clean examples of this M-1956 style canvas
pouch are difficult to obtain. Excellent for a Vietnam impression.

1USUE-2. Olive green nylon pouch designed to
hold a first aid field dressing or a military compass.
Approximately 4-3/4-inch wide x 5-inch high, slightly expandable pouch with a
blackened snap closure, US letters on front. Backside has one black
metal ALICE type belt loop. Military markings inside flap. Minor signs
of age, use and storage. No junk, just a nice, clean, original example of a
nylon first aid/compass pouch. Used Vg+.

1USUE-3. The gray Parkerized metal pommel is
notched to fit the bayonet lug on the U.S. GI issue M16 & AR15 rifle; squeezing the double spring loaded pommel
levers releases the bayonet from the rifle; the black checkered plastic grips are secured
with two screw bolts; the gray
Parkerized cross guard has a 7/8-inch ID barrel ring; the underside of the
cross guard is stamped, “US M7, MILPAR.” The 6-3/4-inch, gray Parkerized, factory
sharpened, blade retains 98% of its original finish and exhibits signs of being put in and out of the scabbard. The green plastic, USM8A1,
scabbard, with dark olive green webbing and wire belt hook, retains 98%,
or more, of its original olive green paint. The scabbard is lightly solid from
storage, and may be lightly scuffed and may have minor and insignificant scratches and
dings from being thrown together with other bayonets in a
crate. The metal parts on the scabbard retain 98%, or more, of its original
finish and may exhibit light surface scuffs and scratches, consistent
with the type of storage mentioned above. The snap and metal ends on
the securing strap exhibit light signs wear to the blackened finish. The
original OD "shoelace" lanyard is attached through a hole through the
metal tipped end of the scabbard. This bayonet has never been
cleaned, sharpened or polished; it has no actual rust or other
deterioration, it has seen very little use, if any. It's a genuine,
U.S., GI, surplus bayonet that has been stored for years. You won't be
