Overseas, at a special reduced price." We removed this talcum
powder from a WW2 dated master container destined for the WW2 armed

Gallowhur Chem., Corp, Windsor, Vt." for "Skol Company, Inc,
New York, N.Y." Found in many first aid and survival kits, as well
as being found in the USMC jungle first aid kit. Of
course, this item is sold strictly as a collector’s item; no other use
is suggested or implied.

Olive
drab plastic whistle with a cork interior ball; one side of the whistle
is embossed, “U.S. Army, L. P. 1943.” 16-1/2-inch long blackened
metal chain with a heavy-duty hook on one end and a 7/8-inch diameter
split ring on the other end; The plastic is moderately aged, scuffed and
scratched from actual use; the whistle is about Vg; the chain is in
excellent+ condition. Military issue whistles have always been

diameter, olive drab painted tin container for US Army Saddle Soap,
early design with press on lid. Top marked, “Soap, Saddle, U.S.A.
Specification 4-9C, Purchase Order No. 727-42-8188 FS, J. L. Prescott
Company, Net Weight 1 Pound.” Bottom of tin is stamped, “POISON, Do
Not Use As A Food Container.” The exterior of the tin exhibits light
to moderate signs of age and wear to the painted surface, light soil and
a few minor, small, dents; the bottom of the tin has four medium sized
spots of rust and a moderate area of paint wear; the inside is empty and
exhibits heavy signs of age, wear and rust. This early looking tin
would look great in a footlocker display. Vg. $12.00

ever-popular WW2, U.S. Army, “Pro-Kit,” Otherwise known as, “Individual
Chemical Prophylactic Packet,” consisting of a 3-1/2-inch wide
x 2-1/4-inch high manila envelope; the front of the envelope is marked, “Pro
– Kit, U.S. Pat. Off. Reg. App. For, Individual Chemical Prophylactic
Packet, (for protection against venereal disease only), contents: 1.
Tube containing 5 grams of ointment. Active ingredients: 30% calomel
U.S.P., 155 sulfathiazole U.S.P.; 2. Soap Impregnated Cloth; 3.
Direction Sheet; 4. Cleansing tissue.
Item No. 9N588-10, The American Products Company, Cincinnati,
Ohio.” The contents are intact and unused, however, over the
past 61 years of storage, the glue securing the closing flap on the
backside has dried out and the packet can be opened. Overall signs of
moderate age, as well as light soil from storage; the manila envelope is
intact, with the exception of some extremely minor and insignificant
wear. A very unique item for a WW2 GI personal item collection, or WW2
GI footlocker display. “Don’t Leave Home Without It.”

1UPI-12. A great personal item
that seems to show up in every veteran’s footlocker. The money
belt was a popular item with the US GI. They came in a multitude of
styles, designs and colors, they could be purchased almost anywhere.
This specimen is constructed of light olive drab cotton poplin material
with a web strap and OD plastic buckle. Two small openings for change
and valuables and one large opening for paper money. Each opening has
its individual flap closure as well as a large flap for the whole belt.
Cloth makers label reads, “Style King Buchsbaum, Manufacturers since
1888, Chicago.” The original price of $. 24 cents is stamped in ink on
fabric. Sorry it’s a bit more than that now. Unissued. Vg+. $15.00 |

| U.S. Army PX Type
Leather Cigarette Box & Vintage Pack Of Lucky Strike Cigarettes |

A very nice, light brown, grained leather cigarette box
with gold embossed U.S. military eagle design and is stamped on the
front, “U.S. Army. The box will hold one pack of regular size
cigarettes. The inside of the flap is ink stamped, “made In
England,” and the original owner hand annotated the words, “San
Antonio, Texas.” The box is machine stitched on all sided and is in
near excellent condition exhibiting very light signs of handling and
use; there is a moderate water stain under the leather strap that
secures the flap closure; this cannot be seen when the flap is closed.
The box comes with a WW2 vintage pack of Lucky Strike cigarettes; the
cigarettes are unopened and till wrapped in its original cellophane
wrapping that is just starting to come apart in spots and the paper is
wrinkled on one side. The cigarettes fit very tightly in the box. Great
